This customer is a leading business standards company that helps organizations all over the world make excellence a habit and has their operations across Europe, US, Asia with 9000+ computers and users.
Customer provides services globally from 182+ countries.

Business Situation

Customer had enabled Mobile Access to Outlook Emails via Active Sync. In the current environment, Good for Enterprise is used as Enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) Application for ~1,100 users out of the total ~3,500 Active Sync enabled users. In the existing environment Good Enterprise is hosted by third party and nearing contract expiration. Customer has existing Enterprise Agreement with Microsoft under which 3,500 Enterprise Mobility + Security is included.

The Company had invited Enmarq Technologies to perform migration of the existing Good Enterprise Users to Microsoft MDM Solution (Intune).

The challenge
The customer had decided to igrate existing on-prem mailboxes to online and register the devices into Intune to secure the email access on mobile devices.

Our Solution:
Enmarq has developed a migration plan that avoided downtime and provided a clear communication plan for users so that they knew what to expect throughout the migration process. The challenge was how to move users to Intune cost-effectively and without losing data or without affecting their work. The migration was executed very smoothly by sending multiple communications to the users well in advance of the actual migration date and engaged them to participate in the migration. As soon as the users devices on-boarded to Intune, the secured Intune polices are applied to thedevices and the IT team is able to manage the devices effectively.
