This customer has operations across Europe, US, Asia with 9,000 computers and users, and a huge development team spread across multiple regions developing business applications for the company.

The customer had software Development and test environment running at on-premise network on VMWare virtual environment, providing the developers both in the internal as well as those external developers to deploy infrastructure related to Development. The current hardware platform is not secure, end-of-Life and running at maximum capacity. Customer wish to migrate Deeper active Directory environment to Azure with all running virtual machines and migrate then to new Active Directory environment in Azure.
The existing ESX Dev Environment was not secured as per Industry standards and is nearing end of life as well as end of capacity. Hence customer wanted Enmarq to implement the Security Controls as per Industry Best Practices while deploying the Dev-Test environment in Azure.

- Challenge was Migrating the existing Active Directory environment to the Azure cloud with the older version of Operating System as it is.

Enmarq was responsible for designing and implementing the entire DevTest environment and networking security in Azure also access controls, defining the migration processes, and commencing the first migrations.
Enmarq has decided to go with Azure Site Recovery for migration of existing VMware environment to Azure Cloud and terraform for Dev-Ops process, Dev-Test environment.
