Our Solution

  • Enmarq went forward with the migration of on-premise infrastructure by migrating on premise vhd for each VM to Azure blob storage.
  • We helped customer create availability groups containing with ARM VM instances each of Active Directory domain controllers, SQL server 2012 standard, application servers and web front end servers to avail the 99.95% availability SLA.
  • The web and application servers were hosted as Standard D3_v2 VM sizes and the SQL database servers with DS13 v2 size with premium storage disks to ensure good databased performance.
  • Each tier formed its own subnet in the same vnet that also consisted of an application Gateway with a public IP address to provide connectivity to public facing website.
  • The internal load balancers would support connectivity from one tier to the other tier of the application at all levels.
  • Azure vnet gateway was configured for P2S VPN connectivity to the dev PCs from different locations.
